But I'm open for new stuff like pSX and will try the new versions.
Psx Emulator Ppc Driver That SupportsMesa's SW GL support may work, but it'll probably be slow (dunno how much GL pSX actually uses.). Any video driver that supports HW rendering on your vidcard should work (switching drivers between stable/testing and/or switching to foss drivers if available might do the trick). If you're having color problems, you should try a different video driver, or a different version of the video driver you use. If problems persist, you might try the WIP version of pSX (check the pSX forums for a link).I found epsxe to be really accurate and smooth, but the fact that it is impossible to get a second controller working, even with the padjoy plugin, makes it somewhat useless to me.Anyone care to share the info on how to set it up to make both pads work, i tried several times and if it doesn't want to work right, i had to disable pad2 to so that pad1 would work again, ive even tried with Code:OmniJoy Init: You are using v1.0.0 build 8OmniJoy: Using Joystick Microsoft X-Box 360 pad for controller 1OmniJoy: Using Joystick Mega World for controller 2And both pads accepted the configuration, until u use one of them then neither pad worksNormal pcsx hasn't been updated in a long time.Be good and if you can't be good, be careful. Its epsxe i got sick of messing about with pcsx, epsxe seems ok apart from this damn no 2 control pad issue, sux wen u got m8's round n u can't play 2 player :-/Yep, reviving an oldie. Help answer the unansweredLocation: The Universe,Virgo Super Cluster,Milky Way,EarthI think there's one called PCSX as well, but i haven't tried it. I think I am lost some dependencies but there isn't a INSTALL.txt with the dependencies needed!!!!!!!!Well , can you post the error message if there is one ?I needed gtkglext, gtkglextmm and glade for pSXAnother vote for pSX, it's the best psx emulator out there! Check for Gentoo install instructions. Please add to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Its analog and works greatAny insight on how you got this working? Or did it just seem to work automatically for you? I am using a Logitech Rumblepad 2, the sticks register fine in other games but never worked with any PSX emulator.I assume you use QJoyPad to set the sticks up as "gradient" axes? How do you configure ePSXe to match that?I agree, finally a PSX emulator which is still worked onHow do you tried it? There isn't an ebuild in portage nor bugzilla and the bin version don't work in my machinne. Or better still, figure out a reliable way to reduce alsa's buffers to <21ms (the smallest people with this problem seem to be able to get them). Please keep in mind that all this info is stuff I gained by simply reading their forums - I'm still building my system, so it'll be a bit before I can actually test.Im playing gt2 using epsxe 1.6 + padjoy plugin with a ms sidewinder pro gamepad on usb. Realplayer cloud download for macYou can find it here: Epsxe is working great on my amd64 system. 2 years go, I loved to use epsxe.I use PadJoy, not omnijoy. RunningReturns that there was an error loading libgtkglext-x11-1.0.so.0 Anyone know a way around this problem?Back when I had time for games, say. (SOOOO useful in games like Xenogears, if you've already played through before.) I'm actually trying to get pSX working right now, but having a slight problem. It seems Gentoo applies the gtkglext package different than other systems. It just runs out of the box (assuming you have all the necessary packages and bios.) It even goes all zsnes and has a fast forward button. ![]()
